Vijay’s Sherawali Temple was founded in 2002 and the location has moved to Hayward, California from South San Francisco. It is a place of worship by Hindu devotees in the Bay Area and many visitors from other parts of the world. Locally referred to as EastbayHCC or Vijay’s Sherawali Temple. The temple is unique because all segments of Hindu Community have a special place for worship of their own with idols of Ganesha, Durga, Shiva, and Hanuman. Religious discourses and cultural activities are held at the temple and all major Hindu religious festivals are celebrated.

The East Bay Hindu Community Center EastbayHCC/Vijay’s Sherawali Temple, completed in 2021, is centrally located between Fremont and Berkeley, and San Francisco City.
